Description
Missolonghi is located on the outskirts of western Greece. A Missolonghi died of meningitis, April 19, 1824, Lord Byron. Messolonghi is the main town in the area that extends in front of Patras but only since August of 2004 can be reached directly from the Peloponnese (thanks to the bridge Rion Antirion newly built) and without having to switch from the isthmus of Corinth.
