This snake, the Black Headed Python, Aspidites Melanocephalus, part of the Pythononidae family and is also sometimes known as the Black Headed Water Python. This snake is a protected species of Australia wildlife and in non-venomous. The snake will grow from 1.5 metres to 3.5 metres in length, which is almost 11 foot.nThe snake, a native Australian reptile, lives in arid areas of the northern half of Australia, which includes Queensland, Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory and the northern part of Western Australia. The snake eats mainly reptiles, including other snakes, but will eat mammals if available.
