Classic arcade and columns of reading room #100874716
Description
The many tiers of the Library of Congress reading room is a testament to Roman architecture. The arcade and Corinthian columns overshadow the desks far below. The Copyright Act of 1870 decreed that two copies of all protected works be deposited in the Library of Congress.
