Nagaland is a hill state located in the far north-eastern part of India.Nagaland inhabited by the Naga tribes, captured international attention during world war II, because it was here that the Japanese advance was halted by British and Indian troops. Majority of the Naga population is engaged in farming and weaving activities. The fairs and festivals of the different Naga tribes showcase the inherent local beliefs of the people of the state.
