This is a Fall picture of the front of the Taylor County Courthouse featuring its iconic dome located in Bedford, Iowa in Taylor County. This pressed brick and Bedford Stone three-story Courthouse was designed by E.M. Ellis And Allen H. Chaffee, it is an example of Romanesque Revival architecture and features center Four side clock dome, it was built in 1892. This Courthouse and dome was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 2, 1981. This picture was taken on September 30, 2017.
