Pictured is the Altar of the Madonna della Bruna in a left nave in the Matera Cathedral in Matera, Italy. The marble altar was created by the sculptor Cristofaro Battimelli in Naples in 1731. The marble cone was made by Francesco Cimafonte in 1706. On the sides of the fresco are statues of the prophets David and Isaiah. In the center is the Madonna della Bruna with Child dating back to about 1270
