Description
The rotisserie in the Victorian kitchen at Charlecote House near Stratford upon Avon. The rotisserie was used to roast large portions of meat mounted on a skewer, a large metal rod, in front of a sizeable open fire. The kitchen also features a good selection of period kitchen utensils, crockery and copper pots and pans Charlecote House was originally built in the 16th century and further developed in the nineteenth century.
