Castle Tower Editorial Photo

The City Tower stands on the site of an original Gothic castle dating back to 1358. Its owners often changed, and after 1547 they were deserted and desolate. His death ended the city`s fire in 1604. In 1608, a baroque town sound was built on the site of the castle, in which a trumpeter lived. The one from the arcade gallery reported the arrival of important guests to the city and later the start of the spa season or fire. The current shape of the tower dates from 1911, when it was enriched by a lift from Friedrich Ohmann. Nowadays, there is a stylish restaurant with a gallery.
