A perfect atmosphere prevails for a Saturday afternoon autumn football game at High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway, NJ on October 21, 2017. This was prior to the Rutgers Homecoming game with relatively few of fans in the stands, perhaps reflecting the team's mediocrity. Rutgers did not disappoint this day though, beating Purdue 14-12 in an exciting NCAA Big Ten Conference game. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights Marching Band assumes an `R` formation to raise spirit and boost morale prior to the game.
