Description
This is the west end of the iconic monument Alter of the Fatherland located in Rome, Italy. This marble monument was designed by Giuseppe Sacconi, it honors Victor Emmanuel the first king of a united Italy, construction on the monument started in 1885 and was completed in 1925. This picture of the west end features the Corinthian Columns and a statue of the goddess Victoria riding on a quadrigas chariot pulled by four horses. This picture was taken on October 25, 2017.
