Sheshan Catholic Church, Shanghai Stock Photography

The Catholic Church in Shanghai, also called the Basilica of Notre Dame in Sheshan, is located on the top of the West Sheshan mountain at Sheshan national Forest Park, Sheshan. The church was built by French missionaries in 1871, completed in 1935, Rome in 1942 the imperial decree of the church as the apostolic temple, make it become the Far East Catholic pilgrimage center, it is `the first church in the Far East` reputation.
