Ethiopia, Oromia region, Koka village: Oromo men, largest Ethiopian ethnic group, sit at the meeting of village elders and striking is that they all wear the same footwear at their feet. These sandals, shoe, are made of worn car tires. Recycled tires, reuse of waste. These people are so poor that they can not buy any kind of shoes other than this cheap footwear. This recycling needed for poverty is environmentally friendly.
