This is a Fall picture of the Casinos dei Pierleoni, the house of the Pierleoni family located in the slopes of the Capitol in Rome, Italy. The house and tower are surviving structures from the Carolingian Age of Rome, they were built in the 10th century, the tower is best known as the hiding place of Pope Victor III to escape the army of the anti-pope Clement II. This picture was taken on October 25, 2017.
