Pictured is a statue of a Marble Angel holding the Lance of Longinis with the inscription Vulnerasti cor meum on the Ponte Sant`Angelo. The sculpture was created by Domenico Guido. The lance belonged to the Roman solider who pierced Christ on the side to ensure he had died. The Ponte Sant`Angelo is now a pedestrian bridge across the Tiber leading to the Castel Sant`Angelo museum.
