El Bosc de les Creus (The Forest of the Crosses) is a land-art project by fireman and artist Marc SellarÃÂ©s, after his village& x27;s forest burned by wildfire on July 2015. It is located near the town of Ãâdena, next to the natural parc of Montserrat. According the artist, this work is a mourning ritual expressing personal feelings. It aims to be a tool for denunciation and awareness towards forest management and climate change. The eerie landscape aims to embody the desolation transmitted by fire-ravaged land, and has become a municipal symbol as well as a tourist attraction.
