The ship was completed in the spring of 2004 with her maiden voyage in May of that year. She is the last Radiance class ship. Jewel of the Seas: undulating Deck 11 houses the Windjammer cafe aft and pools mid, including the new 2016 poolside movie screen. In April 2016, Jewel of the Seas completed a bow-to-stern renovation that give guests new staterooms including two-bedroom family suites and 24 new balconies, three new restaurants/wine bar Giovanni’s Table, Vintages, and Izumi, a large poolside movie screen and tech upgrades, including improved broadband internet service.
