Alignements de Carnac - Menhirs in Carnac #106182134
Description
4000 menhirs set up between 5000 and 2000 BC in an alignment over 4 kilometers long in the megalithic sites of Carnac. Carnac is generally reckoned to be the most important prehistoric site in Europe, and it is almost impossible to avoid comparison with Stonehenge, even though Carnac has no horizontal lintel stones.
