Pipe Spring National Monument Stock Photo

Pipe Spring National Monument located in Fredonia, Arizona features Ancestral Puebloan, Paiute, and Mormon pioneer history, as well as diverse plant and animal communities. The settlement was built in the style of a fort for protection with gun ports on the outside walls. Water from the spring was diverted through a pipe and wooden trough into the settlement.
