Description
A thunderstorm derived using the age suffix of the ancient French ore, meaning `wind` 1 is an atmospheric disturbance of convective origin associated with a particular type of cloud: the cumulonimbus. The latter is strong vertical extension, it generates heavy rains to torrential, electrical discharges of lightning accompanied by thunder. In extreme cases, thunderstorms can produce hailstorms, very strong winds and, rarely, tornadoes.
