ANZAC Square is situated in the heart of Brisbane city and holds the famous remembrance shrine with urn and flame. The surrounding park like gardens contain amazing sculptures made of bronze and iron of Australian and New Zealand soldiers and diggers from all of the wars and battles through history. Each year the biggest ANZAC ceremony is held here on ANZAC day, which is a national holiday, and is televised for the whole nation to watch.
