Bailu Town is located in Sichuan province, mainly 3 hours driving from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan. The small town is famous for its European style which is firstly introduced by western missionaries roughly 100 years ago. After the PRC was founded, many missionaries were expelled by the government as well as two abbeys were deserted. Nowadays this place has become a tourist attraction filled with commercial atmosphere.
