Netherlands, South Holland province, city Dordrecht: facade of the historical city hall with ionic columns, wooden turret and cornice with pediment with the city coat of arms. This historic building is builded in the late fourteenth century by Flemish merchants as a market hall for trade in woolen fabrics. Since 1554 the building is in use by authorities, administrators of the place. The square, Stadhuisplein, was built in the seventeenth century, in 1679 and the facade and staircase with cast lions date from the nineteenth 19th century. This building is a famous landmark, cultural heritage site, national monument and tourist attraction. On the square are a bride in white wedding dress with veil, the bride and groom with bouquet in hands are on the way to the City Hall where they get married before the law.
