This is a Winter picture of the historic Good Housekeeping-Strans-Steel House in a bed of fresh snow located now in Wilmette, Illinois in Cook County. This house was first exhibited in the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair: A Century Of Progress displayed in the Homes of Tomorrow exhibit. The house was designed by the architects of O’Dell & Wirt C. Rowland, it is an example of Art Deco architecture, it was constructed out of steel and baked iron enamel, it was built in 1933. This picture was taken on February 5, 2018.
