Temple constructed on Hill top of place called Aundh by the then king of Aundh, Shreemant Patwardhan of goddess Yamaee. The Black basalt stone is used in construction of temple as well as the flooring and surrounding periphery wall with rooms for devotees to rest and offer prayers. The shiokara or apex on top of idol inside the temple Garbhagriha is modified under renovation and therefore plastere
