Netherlands, South Holland province, city Dordrecht: in the street Voorstraatshaven is the church and steeple, tower, of the Protestant Great Church or Our Lady Church, a cross basilica in the Brabant Gothic architectural style of the Middle Ages, fifteenth century. The Flemish architect, Everaert Spoorwater has played an important role in the construction. The tower is from the early sixteenth century and was designed by Antoon I Keldermans, but was never fully completed. This church building is a famous landmark, cultural heritage site, national monument and tourist attraction and one of the top 100 of the Dutch UNESCO monuments.
