Description
Richard Joshua Reynolds was the founder of the tobacco company that bears his name. He established his own tobacco factory in Winston now Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1875, eventually becoming enormously successful. Reynolda House, built by Reynolds and his wife Katherine, was completed in December 1917. Today it is Reynolda House Museum of American Art.
