Whimsical Metal Dog Sculpture, Bark Park Central, Deep Ellum, Texas Editorial Image

Pictured is a whimsical metal dog sculpture donated by the Dallas Gay and Lesbian Fund for Bark Park Central. The Bark Park Central was created by the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department in 2003 in Deep Ellum. The Deep Ellum `bark park` is an off-leash dog park in Deep Ellum, a historic neighborhood composed largely of arts and entertainment venues near downtown in Old East Dallas, Texas. Pooch-themed art is scattered around and through the park.
