Hamurana Springs are the deepest freshwater springs in the North Island of New Zealand. The water is filtered through an underground aquifer and takes 70 years to return to the surface. Four million gallons of remarkably clear and pure water flow through the springs every hour. The springs are located in native bush on the northern shore of Lake Rotorua, New Zealand.
