During the gold rush and many people came out to San Francisco for the gold, gold, gold. One group, of the Jewish people, still stopped to remember the one of two most important holiday. The day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. Although the building itself no longer remains, the location itself can never be removed, and now dedicated.
