Pictured is `Love is the Only Thing Worth Fighting For`, a mural of the 42 murals project in Deep Ellum Texas. It was painted by Michel Cruz Flores, an up and coming studio artist who was born in Mexico City and raised in Los Angeles, California, and now lives in Dallas. 42 Murals provides an opportunity for local, national, and international artists to showcase their talent through murals painted on many of the historic buildings in Deep Ellum. It was the brainchild of Scott Rohrman, the owner of 42 Real Estate, which since 2012 has bought 39 properties in Deep Ellum. Deep Ellum has a long history as a cultural epicenter for the arts, especially encouraging innovative expression and development in music and visual arts.
