This is an early Spring picture of the historic The Walter H. Gale House located in Oak Park, Illinois in Cook County. This two-story framed house was designed by the iconic architect Frank Lloyd Wright, it is an example of Queen Anne architecture, it was built in 1893, it was the first house designed by Wright after leaving the Architectural firm of Adler & Sullivan. This house is a cotributing property to the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie School Of Architecture Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 17, 1973. This picture was taken on March 19, 2018.
