Description
This is an early Spring picture of the historic Francis J. Woolley House located in Oak Park, Illinois in Cook County. This three-story framed house was designed by the iconic architect Frank Lloyd Wright early in his career, it is an example of Queen Anne and Arts Craft styles of architecture, it was one of his proposed low cost affordable homes, it was built in 1893. This house is a contributing property to the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie School of Architecture Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 4, 1973. This picture was taken on March 21, 2018.
