Pictured is the historic Drake Hotel located in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The hotel is 375-foot-tall and began as a 33-story luxury hotel. It was built in 1928-29 by the Murphy, Quigley Company and was designed by the architectural firm of Ritter and Shay in the Art Deco style. It was added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places in 1977 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It was converted to condominiums and apartments in 1998.
