Brazil, Obidos: Cathedral Of Saint Ann Editorial Photo

Obidos is a city at the Amazon River. Saint Ann - or in Portuguese: Santa Ana - is the patron saint of the local Catholic church `Catedral Metropolitana Nossa Senhora Santa Ana` - Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Ann. Saint Anne was the mother of Mary and thus grandmother of Jesus. A sculpture of the patron saint is just visible behind the left tree a photo of the sculpture elsewhere in my portfolio. The church is a tourist attraction. This photo was taken in 2014 -15 after Christmas.
