50 Liberty Street, a Stick-Eastlake style home. #114262976
Description
One of the earliest, middle class suburbs in San Francisco is Liberty Hill. Built in the 19th century, this little neighborhood escaped the devastating earthquake and fire of 1906 that destroyed most of the rest of the city. Because it still contains intact period architecture of the period, it was designated an historic district. Stick-Eastlake was a combined style that was used between the Gothic of the 1840`s-1850`s and the Victorians of the 1880`s-1890`s. This home was built in 1888.
