Description
The most commonly cultivated and eaten of the mushrooms, extreme care should be taken if picking from the wild, as there are two very similar looking but very deadly mushrooms. Where as the portobello has pink or brown gills, the deadly destroying angel has pure white gills. The Entoloma sinuatum has yellow gills.
