Mussenden Temple on a cliff`s edge #115116074
Description
Mussenden Temple is located in the beautiful surroundings of Downhill Demesne in County Londonderry. It perches dramatically on a 120 ft cliff top, high above the Atlantic Ocean on the north-western coast of Northern Ireland. Originally built in 1758 as a summer library by Frederick Augustus Hervey, Bishop of Derry and Earl of Bristol or the Earl Bishop. The image has been designed to illustrate the history of this wonderful piece of architecture and to add mystic and mood. Post-processing using Adobe Photoshop involved layering 2 images and converted to black and white. Would make a lovely picture for a living room, hallway or office. Also a great image for a wallpaper or a screensaver.
