Menton, France: Jean Cocteau Memorial Editorial Photo

Jean Cocteau is buried beneath the floor of the Chapelle Saint-Blaise des Simples in Milly-la-Forêt, not far from Paris. The epitaph on his gravestone set in the floor of the chapel reads: `I rest with you`- `Je reste avec vous`. Sculptor Arlette Somazzi has created this commemorative Sculpture using a bronze portrait of Cocteau and the text on his grave. The memorial was erected at the walls of `Le Bastion`, an old fortification in the harbor of Menton.
