Old hotel Bristol in Braila, in communist period #115813422
Description
One of the most beautiful buildings in the old center of Braila, where the `Bristol` Hotel operated 100 years ago, and during the Communist regime the `PescÃÆruÃ
Ÿ` Hotel has now become a real ruin. The building now in ruins was built in 1892, as stated by Maria Stoica in the book `Braila - Memory of the City` by architect Paul Mihail. It was originally a fashion house of the Geavide brothers. Later, it was bought by rich merchant Hirschorn, who decided to turn it into a hotel. Practically, a new two-story building was built, but it cracked immediately after finishing.
