Looking towards the Park of Remembrance #116189801
Description
The park is dedicated to the fallen of World War I and was built in the wake of the `groves of remembrances` that arose in Italy starting in 1923 . It was built in 1935 on a design by the adjutant architect Ubaldo Badas . The monument is sober and consists of two beams of trachyte and Serrenti stone on which are reported the dates of the most important battles of the great war. Between the two beams there is the exedra on whose structure the names of the fallen are reported.
