Description
Opened in 1909 and originally as a two story bank building by John Fugazi as Banca Popolare Operaia Italiana Popular Italian Bank. Amadeo P. Giannini bought the building in 1928 for his new Bank of America. Some ten years later Giannini did some remodeling, adding the third floor at that time, to accommodate the Transamerica headquarters, and so rededicated the building. The building has been the new home for The Church of Scientology since November 2003.
