Xiantao flavour snack: rice lump #116298773
Description
Mi Tuan, short for "Tuan Zi", also known as glutinous rice dumplings, is a kind of delicacy in Xiantao, Hubei, China. It is called "Tuan Zi". In Mianyang (today's Xiantao), the people of Mianyang (today) in Hubei have "the year and the half of the moon". The Lantern Festival in the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar is regarded as a more important festival than the Spring Festival, and the "group" has replaced the status of the Tang yuan. Because it seems to them that this is the last reunion for a year's hard work, so they value it very much. But on that day, the local people did not eat Lantern Festival like many other places. Instead, they ate a kind of snack called "dumplings". This custom has a long history.
