This is a Spring picture of the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry located in the Jackson zpark neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. This example of a Beaux Arts Architecture was designed by Charles B. Atwood to serve as the Palace of Fine Arts during the 1893 Worldââ¬â¢s Columbian Exposition. After the fair the structure would house the Natural Histoey Museum until itââ¬â¢s permanent home was constructed. After sitting empty for a few years the building was renovated to serve as the Museum of Science and Industry starting in 1933. The building was declared a Chicago Landmark on November 1, 1995.
