This is a Spring picture of he iconic Mill Tower located in Iowa Falls, Iowa in Hardin County. This two-story framed structure was designed and built by the Illinois Central Railroad, the first floor had offices, the second floor house the control room, it is one of the last standing wooden towers, it was built in 1909. This structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 6, 1990. This picture was taken on May 5, 2018.
