An Astronaut On The Facade Of The Cathedral Stock Photo

In the new cathedral of Salamanca hides an strange anachronism: camouflaged between the floral decoration that surrounds one of the doors, is the small figure of an astronaut, perfectly recognizable by the diving suit and boots. The explanation is not that the master architects of the cathedral anticipate trips to the moon, but that it is a modern nod, included in a recent restoration. It is a way to make clear that there are parts of the facade that have been restored.
