Qufu Confucian Temple, located 300 meters west of Drum Tower in central Qufu, is a memorial temple for Confucius, a famous thinker and educator in ancient China. It was founded in the seventeen years of Lu Gong (478 BC). It was called "three holes" in the past dynasties. It is a group of ancient buildings with Oriental architectural features, large scale and magnificent momentum.
