Any of several deciduous trees or shrubs of the genus Rosaceae, Li Yake. Axillary buds are confluent, with flower buds on both sides, and leaf buds in the middle. The petiole or edge of the leaf often has a gland. Flowers are single, pink, and rare white, the ovary is often pubescence, the fruit is a nuclear fruit, the nucleus is round, round to oval, and the flesh is conglutinous or separated, the surface of the mask is different in depth, transverse furrow and hole, very thin and smooth; the seed coat is thick, seed bitterness bittersweet or sweet.
