Pictured is the Fogelson Fountain at the Dallas Arboretum, with flower beds and hedges in the background. It was donated by Greer Garson Fogelson on the death of her husband, Elijah `Buddy` Fogelson. He was an American lawyer, army colonel, horse and cattle breeder, and philanthropist. He made a fortune as a wildcatter in the oil industry. The sixty-six acre botanical garden opened in 1984. It is located in East Dallas on the shore of White Rock Lake. It has nineteen named gardens.
