Wangcheng Park, Luoyang Editorial Image

Luoyang Wangcheng Park, located in the western industrial area of Luoyang, the capital of the thirteen dynasties, was named for its construction on the site of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty Wangcheng site. The park was built in 1955 and is located at the Wangcheng site of the East Zhou Dynasty, a national key cultural relic protection unit in the west of the Luoyang cultural center. It covers an area of one thousand and eighty mu, including the ancient cultural area, the peony garden, the animal museum, the amusement park and other parts. It is the first site of the National Park, the main venue of the peony flower meeting, the largest zoo in western Henan. It is also the largest comprehensive park in Henan.
