Description
Baima temple is located in Luoyang, Henan, 12 kilometers east of the old city, Luolong Baima temple town. Founded in the eleven year of Yongping & x28;68 AD& x29; of the Eastern Han Dynasty & x28;AD& x29;, China& x27;s first ancient temple, the world famous gal, is the first official monastery built after Buddhism was introduced into China, which has a history of more than 1900 years since it was known as the & x22;ancestor court& x22; and & x22;release of the source& x22; of Chinese Buddhism. The existing sites and monuments are preserved in yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The temple preserved a large number of dry painted statues of the Yuan Dynasty, such as the three Buddha, two days, and eighteen Lohan.
